Christmas sleigh VR — a themed ride in 3.2 m²

A sleigh-shaped VR ride: the guest sits in the sleigh, puts on a headset, and the body moves with a winter flight film. The shell is a full-scale sleigh rather than a cabinet, so the machine does the signage work by itself.

Two numbers make it placeable: it stands on 3.2 m², which is smaller than a billiard table, and it is 1,500 mm high, so it goes into a corridor, an atrium corner or a pop-up bay without a soffit. Power is 3 kW, the lowest in the range.

  • 3.2 m². Fits positions that larger VR units cannot use.
  • 1,500 mm high. No ceiling work, and it clears a low bay.
  • 3 kW. A normal supply rather than a dedicated circuit.

01 / Overview

What a sleigh VR ride is

This is a themed motion seat. The guest climbs into a sleigh body, the headset goes on, and the seat moves with a winter flight film — over rooftops, through snow, above a forest. The theme and the content are matched, so the shell is not decoration over a generic ride.

It is a small unit by the standards of this range: 3.2 m², 1,500 mm high, 250 kg. That makes it a position product rather than an anchor — somewhere a venue has floor it is not using and a calendar it can plan around.

02 / Watch a session

Climb in, put the headset on, fly

The clip shows the unit in a public setting: a guest taking the seat in the sleigh, the headset fitted, then the body moving with the film while people stop to watch. Watch the passing traffic rather than the ride — the shell is why they stop, and that is the part the venue is buying.

The cycle runs as follows.

Seat. The guest climbs into the sleigh and settles against the backrest.
Fit. The headset goes on and the operator starts the session from the panel.
Ride. The body moves with the film; the guest flies over the winter landscape.
Exit. The headset comes off and is wiped; the guest steps out.
Next guest. The seat resets and the next session starts.

03 / Season

How to buy a themed machine

A Christmas-themed ride earns hardest in the weeks around the holiday, and that is not a weakness to talk around. A venue that programmes a winter season — a mall atrium in November and December, a tourist destination with a holiday event, a park with a Christmas overlay — gets the full value of the shell, because the theme and the calendar are doing the same work.

Outside that window the machine is still a working motion ride, and the two films can be supplemented through our after-sales channel. What changes is the draw: a sleigh in July is a ride, not an event. Buy it for the season it is built for and plan the rest of the year around the ride rather than the theme — that is the honest case for this unit, and it is also why it is priced as a compact machine rather than an anchor.

Peak season

November and December carry the theme, and the shell does the marketing.

Outside the season

Still a motion ride on two titles, with content additions available.

Best positions

Mall atrium, corridor alcove, pop-up bay, holiday event floor.

Not an anchor

One guest at a time; it adds to a floor rather than filling one.

04 / Space and power

The three smallest numbers in the range

The unit measures 1,600 mm by 2,000 mm and stands 1,500 mm high — 3.2 m² of floor and 250 kg. At that height it fits under a low soffit, a mezzanine edge or a pop-up structure, which is what opens up atrium corners and corridor ends that a two-metre machine rules out.

Power is 3 kW on a multi-tap input for 110 V or 220 V, with cable and plug adapters specified for your market. That is a normal supply rather than a dedicated circuit, so the position is limited by floor and headroom rather than by electrical work.

STEP 01

Send the position

Floor area, headroom, the power point and the delivery route.

STEP 02

We confirm the fit

Boarding side, motion clearance and the visible face of the shell.

STEP 03

Order and production

Shell finish, voltage kit and title set fixed at order.

STEP 04

Delivery and commissioning

Positioned, powered, calibrated, handed over with staff training.

Where the venue needs two riders on one machine, the two-seat egg chair is the compact option at 3.90 m². Placement examples are on the solutions page.

05 / Titles

Two films, matched to the shell

Two Christmas titles ship installed, both built for this motion platform rather than adapted from a generic library: a winter flight over rooftops and a snowy exploration. Two is deliberate — they are full-length experiences rather than short loops, so a guest rides one and comes back for the other.

The compute platform supports further titles, which are added through the after-sales channel rather than by changing hardware. Title set and language options are confirmed at the quotation stage.

Reviews

What operators say about the sleigh ride

Swipe to see more →

Fifteen hundred millimetres high is what gets it into a corridor. Most VR units need headroom this one does not.

LEKE VR install team, Guangzhou
★★★★★

We take it for November and December and it pays for the year. The shell is the campaign, we do not buy signage.

Sofia B., mall marketing, Valencia

Buy it for the season and plan the rest around the ride, not the theme. That is the honest brief.

★★★★☆

Works hard in the holiday window. Outside it, we run it as a small attraction and accept lower traffic.

07 / Questions

Questions operators ask

When does this earn best?

In the weeks around Christmas, when the theme and the calendar work together — a mall atrium in November and December, a holiday event, a park with a winter overlay.

What about the rest of the year?

It is still a working motion ride on two winter titles, and further titles can be added through after-sales. What changes is the draw: the shell sells the season, not the summer.

How big is it?

3.2 m² and 1,500 mm high — the smallest unit we make, and low enough for a corridor, an atrium corner or a pop-up bay.

What does it weigh and draw?

250 kg and 3 kW, on a normal supply at 110 V or 220 V.

How many titles are included?

Two, both built for this motion platform: a winter flight and a snowy exploration.

Can we add titles later?

Yes, through the after-sales channel. The compute platform supports further titles without a hardware change.

What support is included?

Remote diagnostics, video support while staff are on the floor, spare parts from our own stock, and after-sales maintenance.

Next step

Send the position, not a wish list

Send the floor area, the headroom and the power point. At 1,500 mm high this unit fits places a two-metre machine cannot.
