Space Shuttle 2.0 — two-seat capsule cinema
Two riders sit inside an aerodynamic capsule that reads as a ride rather than a chair. The seat platform pitches, banks and drops with the film, and the closed shell keeps the surrounding hall out of the experience.
The unit is 3,500 mm wide and 2,180 mm deep, so it suits a long wall run rather than a corner. It draws 3,500 W and ships with more than eighty titles installed, which is the deepest library in the range.
- Dual seat, one shell. A pair rides together inside a closed capsule.
- 80+ titles. The largest installed library of the cinema units.
- 3,500 mm wide. Built for a wall run, not a square footprint.
01 / Overview
What a two-seat VR capsule is
A capsule is a closed cinema pod. Two riders take the seats, the shell closes around them, and the seat platform moves with the film while the headsets carry the image. Because the shell is closed, the surrounding arcade does not compete with the ride — which is what allows a short film to hold attention on a busy floor.
The shape is part of the product. This unit is modelled as an aerodynamic shell rather than a chair with a frame, so from across a corridor it reads as a ride and draws a queue by itself. That matters on a floor where several machines are competing for the same glance.
| Riders per cycle | Two, side by side in one capsule. |
| Motion | Pitch, bank and drop driven by the film. |
| Shell | Closed aerodynamic capsule; the pair is enclosed. |
| Footprint | 5.59 m², 3,500 mm wide and 2,180 mm deep. |
| Library | 80+ installed titles. |
02 / Watch a session
Boarding, closing the shell, and the motion
The clip shows the capsule in use: two riders taking the seats, headsets fitted, the shell closed, then the platform moving through the film. Watch how the enclosure changes the experience — once the shell is closed, the rider has no view of the hall, and the only thing moving is what the film shows and what the seat does.
The cycle runs as follows.
03 / Shell and motion
What the capsule shape does for a venue
An arcade floor is a competition for attention. A pod that looks like a chair is read as a chair; a shell with a curved canopy and a closed silhouette is read as a ride, and people stop before they know what it is. That is the commercial job the shape performs, and it is why this model is usually placed on a main walkway rather than in a back corner.
Under the shell, the platform runs a 3,500 W motion system with pitch, bank and drop, driven by the film rather than a fixed loop. The shell is closed, so the rider’s whole view belongs to the ride and the motion does not have to compete with the hall’s lighting and screens.
Closed capsule
The hall is removed from the rider’s view once the shell closes.
Curved canopy
Reads as a ride from a corridor, which is what draws the queue.
3,500 W motion
Pitch, bank and drop, timed to the film rather than looping.
Fibreglass shell
Dual-layer body built for public seating rather than home use.
04 / Space and power
Wide, shallow, and heavier than it looks
The capsule measures 3,500 mm wide, 2,180 mm deep and 1,910 mm high — 5.59 m² in total. The proportions suit a wall run: it occupies a long, fairly shallow strip rather than a square, which is what a corridor or a shopfront edge gives you. At 1,910 mm high it also clears a normal commercial soffit.
Weight is 651 kg and the supply is one 220 V connection at 3,500 W. Both are confirmed against your plan before the order, and the delivery route has to take the capsule as shipped rather than in sections.
Send the wall run
Length, depth, ceiling height, load capacity and power position.
We confirm the fit
Boarding side, canopy clearance and the delivery route.
Order and production
Shell colour, lighting and title selection fixed at order.
Delivery and commissioning
Positioned, powered, calibrated, handed over with staff training.
Where the wall run is short and the depth is generous, the more compact two-seat egg chair covers the same format in 3.90 m². Placement examples are on the solutions page.
05 / Titles
Eighty titles, and why the count matters
More than eighty titles ship installed, covering roller coasters, space flight, deep-sea descents, adventure and family content. For a two-seat capsule this is the figure that decides repeat visits: a pair that has ridden everything on the machine stops coming, and a library of twenty is exhausted within a couple of months at a busy site.
The operator selects the film per session from the dashboard, so a family pair and a couple on a date can use the same capsule on the same evening. Title selection and language options are confirmed at quotation.

Layout, access and power are confirmed against your floor plan before the order is placed, so a site is not ruled out until the plan has been checked.
Reviews
What operators say about the Space Shuttle capsule
Swipe to see more →
It is wider than it looks on a plan. Measure the wall run and the canopy clearance before the delivery, not after.
Guests stop because it looks like a ride, then queue. The shell does the marketing, we just take the money.
Eighty titles is the quiet reason it keeps working after the first month. Twenty would be exhausted by regulars.
Closing the shell makes a real difference on a noisy floor. Two seats means a queue, so we run it beside a group attraction.

07 / Questions
Questions operators ask
How many people ride at once?
Two, side by side inside the same capsule.
Do they still see the arcade?
No. Once the shell closes, the rider's view belongs to the ride, which is what lets a short film hold attention on a busy floor.
What does the motion do?
Pitch, bank and drop, timed to the film rather than a repeating loop.
How much floor does it need?
5.59 m² — 3,500 mm wide and 2,180 mm deep. The proportions suit a long wall run rather than a corner.
What power supply does it need?
One 220 V connection at 3,500 W.
How many titles are included?
More than eighty, covering roller coasters, space flight, deep sea, adventure and family content.
Can we change the film between pairs?
Yes, from the operator dashboard, without a restart.
What support is included?
Remote diagnostics, video support while staff are on the floor, spare parts from our own stock, and after-sales maintenance.
