VR Chair 360 single seat — rotation in 2.41 m²
One rider in a closed chair that turns through a full 360 degrees, with seat vibration, wind and surround audio. The whole unit stands on 2.41 m² and weighs 200 kg.
Those two figures are the reason this model exists. At 200 kg it is light enough for an upper floor or a mezzanine that would reject a heavier capsule, and at 2.41 m² it fits a kiosk position or a lobby corner rather than a dedicated zone.
- 200 kg. Light enough for floors a full capsule cannot use.
- 2.41 m². Smaller than a two-seat redemption cabinet.
- 22+ titles. More installed content than the two-seat model.
01 / Overview
What a single-seat 360 chair is
This is a seated motion attraction for one rider. The chair sits inside a closed canopy, the rider puts on a headset, and the platform turns through a full rotation while the seat vibrates and the cabin releases wind. Because the rider is enclosed, the surrounding arcade does not compete with what is on screen.
Its place in a floor plan is different from a capsule for two. Where a two-seat unit needs a zone, this needs a position: a lobby corner, a kiosk run, a gap between two cabinets. That is the trade — one rider per cycle instead of two, in exchange for a much smaller and much lighter machine.
| Rider | One, in a closed rotating chair. |
| Movement | Full 360-degree rotation, plus seat vibration. |
| Effects | Wind and multi-channel surround audio inside the cabin. |
| Footprint | 2.41 m² at 200 kg. |
| Supply | 2.5 kW, configurable for 110 V, 220 V or 380 V at order. |
02 / Watch a session
One rider, one rotation
The clip shows the chair in use: the rider taking the seat, the harness closing, the canopy shut, then the chair turning through the film. Watch the harness sequence rather than the ride — the lock confirmation is what allows the motion to start, and it is also what keeps the turnaround short enough to run without a dedicated attendant per unit.
The cycle runs as follows.
03 / Rotation and effects
What the rotation adds to a single seat
A chair that only tilts leaves the turn on the screen. Here the seat itself rotates on its vertical axis, timed to the camera in the film, so a pan or a spin is a movement the rider feels rather than watches. On a coaster that is the difference between looking at a drop and being turned into it.
Three more effects run with it: seat vibration on impacts, wind released inside the cabin during speed sequences, and multi-channel audio that keeps its direction as the chair turns. Together they give one rider four channels at once, which is what a closed chair can do that a screen cannot.
360-degree rotation
The seat turns on its axis, timed to the camera rather than a set loop.
Seat vibration
Impact feedback through actuators in the chair.
Wind in the cabin
Directional fans release bursts during dives and acceleration.
Directional audio
Sound keeps its position relative to the rider as the chair turns.
04 / Space and power
2.41 m² and 200 kg, and why that pair matters
Most motion attractions are heavy, and weight is what decides whether a position is viable on anything other than a ground floor. At 200 kg this unit sits in a different category: it can be placed on an upper floor, a mezzanine or a lightweight kiosk deck where a 650 kg capsule would need a structural opinion first.
The footprint is equally practical. 2.41 m² is smaller than a two-seat redemption cabinet, which means it can occupy the kind of position that normally stays empty — the end of a run, a column bay, a lobby corner. Power is 2.5 kW, and the input is set at order for 110 V, 220 V or 380 V, so one specification serves different markets. The unit is self-contained: no separate PC tower to house and no external tracking frames to mount.
Send the position
Floor area, load capacity, ceiling height and power position.
We confirm the fit
Rotation clearance, boarding side and the delivery route.
Order and production
Voltage configuration, shell finish and title selection fixed at order.
Delivery and commissioning
Positioned, powered, calibrated, handed over with staff training.
Where two riders need to ride together, the two-seat VR chair 360 covers the same format at 8.64 m². Placement examples are on the solutions page.
05 / Safety
How the chair is allowed to move
Motion does not start until the harness reports as locked. A shoulder and lap harness carries a lock-confirmation sensor, and the sequence will not begin until it registers — which removes the most common failure in a staffed attraction, a rider who thinks they are strapped in and is not.
Two emergency stops are fitted: one on the exterior panel and one reachable from inside the seat. The enclosed canopy removes the risk of a limb extending during rotation, so no one has to stand guard beside the machine, and the rotation drive runs under a governed speed with hard torque limits rather than relying on software alone.
Lock confirmation
Motion will not start until the harness registers as locked.
Dual emergency stop
One outside at the operator panel, one inside the cockpit.
Enclosed canopy
No limb can extend during rotation, so no guard is needed beside it.
Governed rotation
Speed is limited by the drive, with hard torque limits.
06 / Titles
Twenty-two titles on a one-seat machine
More than twenty-two titles ship installed — notably more than the two-seat chair in the same range, which carries twelve. The library is spread across coasters, deep-sea descents, space combat, horror escape, scenic flight and racing, all authored for the chair’s rotation rather than adapted from a standing experience.
The spread is what protects a single seat. With one rider per cycle the machine depends on repeat visits, and a library of five would be exhausted by a regular in a month. Titles are selected per session at the operator touchscreen, with no restart between riders.

Our showroom and factory in Guangzhou can be visited. Projects listed below belong to operators, so access is theirs to grant. If a visit is not practical, we work from your floor plan instead. The rest of the range, including the two-seat egg chair, is listed under commercial VR products.
Where it goes
Where this machine is usually installed
Suited to family entertainment centres, shopping-mall units and cinema lobbies.
Layout, access and power are confirmed against your floor plan before the order is placed, so a site is not ruled out until the plan has been checked.
Reviews
What operators say about the single-seat chair
Swipe to see more →
The 200 kg figure is what gets it onto upper floors. Verify the slab and the lift, then confirm the rotation clearance.
It fits a column bay we could not use. One rider per cycle, but the position was dead space before.
Twenty-two titles on a one-seat machine is what keeps it alive. A short library dies on a single seat.
Harness confirmation means we do not have to stand beside it every cycle. We still keep someone nearby at peaks.

08 / Questions
Questions operators ask
How many people ride at once?
One. The chair takes a single rider per cycle, which is why it needs so little floor.
What is the footprint and weight?
2.41 m² and 200 kg, smaller and lighter than a two-seat redemption cabinet.
Can it go on an upper floor?
Usually yes — at 200 kg the floor loading is far lower than a full capsule. Confirm with your structural engineer, but this is the model that makes an upper floor or mezzanine practical.
Does the seat actually rotate?
Yes. The platform turns through 360 degrees on its vertical axis, timed to the camera in the film, on top of seat vibration and wind.
What happens if the harness is not locked?
The motion sequence will not start. A lock-confirmation sensor has to register before the ride can begin.
Is there an emergency stop?
Two — one on the exterior operator panel and one reachable from inside the seat.
What power supply does it need?
2.5 kW, with the input configured at order for 110 V, 220 V or 380 V.
What titles are included?
More than twenty-two, spread across coasters, deep sea, space combat, horror escape, scenic flight and racing, selected per session.
Next step
Send the position, not a wish list
Send the floor area, the load capacity and the power position. If it is not a ground floor, say so first — 200 kg is the reason this unit is being considered.
